vacation update

It's been great. Fly fishing on the Frying Pan near Basalt, CO, driving through the San Juan mountains to Durango, walking through Mesa Verde and learning about its history, and then off to Moab, Utah to see Arches National Park. I've taken several hundred photographs that will keep me busy for weeks. Great time with Jen, Don and Julia. Will post highlights and photos over the next week or two.

Great area to fish especially in the early morning. Will bond with the Pan next week! Just call me the "Pan Man".

Good Brothers, Good Uncles

Carl and Ordie came over for lunch Saturday and it was great to see them. It's seldom that I can take a picture of them together and especially of them smiling and enjoying one another. I have so many great memories and I love 'em.

Mom, Ken Poston, Dad, Brenda Poston

Ken Poston and his wife Brenda drove from Texas to Monticello, Arkansas to visit Dad after his surgery. Dad was very touched by their driving so far for such a short visit and it meant a great deal to him. Ken and Dad met in the mid-to-late 1960's when Dad was the Army recruiter in Lufkin, Texas.
